Jovenes Paraguayos Oriundos de Ciudad del Este participaron de la 10º Edicion del Forum Internacional de Software Livre las fechas 24 al 27 de Junio.
Jóvenes Estudiantes de la carrera de Ingeniería en Informática de la Universidad Americana Sede Ciudad del Este participaron del 10º Forum Internacional de Software Libre (FISL 10) llevado a cabo en la Ciudad de Porto Alegre – RS – Brasil. Dicho evento se realizó en las fechas 24 al 27 de junio. Que fueron como caravana cuyo nombre se denomina “Taguato Libre – UACDE PARAGUAY”
Participaron activamente Lourdes Castillo, Anahí Salinas, Vanesa Guillen, Damián Gonzalez, Luis Mirett, Fernando Gomez, Aldo Medina, Manuel Lezcano, Eduardo Urcullú, Estefani Urcullú, Edgar Melgarejo, Marcos Kuo, Paul Cristaldo, Andrés Cantero, Rocio Meza, Mauro Coronel y Evelyn Urcullú.

I FESTIVAL DE ROBÓTICA LIVRE
Asi tambien 4 alumnas de la mencionada institución participaron del “I Festival de Robótica Livre”, realizado en el FISL 10.
Vanesa Guillen, Anahí Salinas y Roció Meza concursaron por el nivel básico donde obtuvieron el 1º y 3º puesto y Lourdes Castillo concursó por el nivel avanzado donde obtuvo el 2º puesto. Cabe destacar que se formaron grupo de 5 personas en cada equipo.
